Why do a mock exam?
Mock exams are important so that your child can gain the necessary experience of what it is like to sit an exam - as this may be a completely new thing to them. Mock exams will help introduce them to this new environment without the stress of the actual exam.
We will be conducting online mock exams as well as face-to-face exams, each bringing their own benefits. Online exams help to introduce the structure of the exam so that students are familiar with the layout and what will need to be done by them, whilst a face-to-face mock exams will introduce the environment that they will be expected to take the exam under. We believe a combination of these will help to reduce some stress and pressure being experienced by the student, improving their performance in the actual exam.
What to Expect on Exam Day

Structured Exam Session
The GL exam consists of three 50-minute papers covering Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal reasoning, with short breaks in between. This structure familiarises students with the real exam format.

Preparation Essentials
Students should bring at least 2 pencils, an eraser, a small snack, and a drink (preferably a sports bottle) to stay comfortable and focused during the exam.

Accurate Practice Environment
These mock exams provide a realistic prediction of actual Grammar School entrance exams. Online and face-to-face options are available, each offering unique benefits to reduce stress and improve performance.

Feedback and Reporting
After the exam, a full report including the child’s answers and performance analysis will be emailed. Parents can review results and track progress to guide further learning.

Flexible Scheduling
Tickets are non-refundable, but students may move their session to another date (one change allowed). Arrive 10–15 minutes early to ensure a smooth start.

Booster Revision session
This course is suitable for 11 plus students preparing for Grammar school.
These sessions are designed to give your child the tools they need to handle exam questions that require extra practice to beat the exam pressure.
Most topics will be briefly revised, a few topics will require more in depth work, and the bulk of the sessions will concentrate on practice questions and exam style questions. We have found this method of revision to be the most efficient and most effective.” we will be revising all the subjects.

Summer School
This is a special booster course designed for the 11+ exam. This is a very popular course as it is very intensive and run just before the actual 11+ exams. This will give the child a last minute Boost that can be extremely helpful
This is a WEEKLY COURSE, every week is different. You can book each week separately or all three with a discount.
CLASSES WILL BE RUNNING FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY 3 HRS EACH DAY FOR THREE WEEKS IN AUGUST. This weekly session include free mock test on following Saturdays. Full detailed feed back either on phone or Zoom will be provided for every week, as required.
August 2023 summer school dates:
Week 1 Monday 31st July 2023 – Friday 4th August 2023 (9:00am-12:15pm)
Week 2. Monday 7th August 2023 – Friday 11th August 2023 (9:00am-12:15pm)
Week 3. Monday 14th August 2023 – Friday 18th August 2023 (9:00am-12:15pm)
The cost of the Summer School is £250 for week1 and week2. Payments have to be paid in advance in order to secure a place.
Please note Week 2 will be face to face classes at Bowden Parish centre for £285 only
(depending on number of bookings, else it will be online for lower price of £250)
We have found that group sessions can give a student a sense of competition which will often motivate them to a better performance.
Courses are available for GL style papers, as the Trafford is offering new GL system.
